Choose: Orientation

Orientation is part of the Choose Phase of a transition to a VCUR 2008 electronic medical record (EMR) solution. The Physician Office System Program (POSP) supports clinics through several activities in this stage.

Program Orientation – Program Orientation provides information about the POSP funding model and change management services that are available to clinics throughout their transition.

Clinic-Based Value Proposition – The Clinic-Based Value Proposition reviews the current state of a practice and identifies potential benefits and risks to the physicians and clinic in implementing an EMR solution.

Readiness Assessment – The Readiness Assessment establishes a clinic's readiness to transition to an EMR solution by assessing the clinic’s leadership, capacity for change and clinic capabilities.

Enrolment – Enrolment provides an overview of the forms and agreements that must be completed to implement an EMR solution and receive funding from POSP.
