Custodian Summary

The Custodian's Summary is designed to assist physicians and clinic staff to identify potential threats to their information system and implement safeguards to either reduce the likelihood of the threat occurring, or to reduce the damage or disruption should the threat occur. This document provides checklists for clinics on the type of system management activities to perform and the frequency with which to perform them in order to protect their information system.
