Program Guidelines
Alberta Health and the Alberta Medical Association have
reached a new agreement that required revisions to the Program
Guidelines for 2013-2014. For a high level summary of program
changes see What
to Expect: POSP 2013-2014.
These Physician Office System Program (POSP) Guidelines describe
the requirements for receiving POSP funding.
Physicians who sign the POSP Physician Participation
Agreement are agreeing to adhere to the POSP Program Guidelines
which are subject to change.
- All changes to the program guidelines are communicated by
email so physicians are required to update POSP with any email
changes.
- Physicians who continue to accept POSP funding after being
notified of changes will be considered to have accepted those
changes.
- Any changes in the program will take effect even if physicians
do not read the communication sent to them.
