Phase 2
1. POSP Phase 2 Funding: For a physician currently enrolled in
POSP and receiving Phase 2 funding:
a. Level 1.0 - Participants are eligible to
continue to receive current grant funding of $87.50/month through
to the end of their 48 month period. No extensions to this
timeframe are available, and no new enrolment in Level 1.0 will be
offered.
b. Level 1.5 - Participants are eligible
to continue to receive current Phase 2 grant funding of
$233.33/month through to the end of their 48-month period. At the
end of the 48-month period, these participants will be eligible to
continue with Level 1.5 funding under Phase 3 Level 1.5 guidelines
without submitting a new letter of agreement to POSP.
c. Level 2.0 - Participants are eligible
to continue to receive current Phase 2 grant funding of $740/month
through to the end of their 48-month period.
i. At the end of the 48 month
period, these participants are eligible to continue with Level 2.0
funding under Phase 3 Level 2.0 guidelines. However, these
participants must first submit a letter of agreement, an enrolment
form, and a commitment to transition form to POSP for Phase 3
funding.
ii. A physician currently enrolled
in POSP and receiving Level 2 funding must be using a VCUR 2006
physician office system solution.
d. Phase 2 funding will end when the physician goes live with a
VCUR 2008 physician office system solution from a QSP. This is
referred to as Milestone 3 - Go-Live of Physician Office System (as
defined in the Administration Requirements
for Invoice-Based Reimbursement)
e. For all Phase 2 VCUR 2006 solutions, each physician is
required to meet usage measures as outlined in the Usage
measure Requirements for VCUR 2006 EMRs. A physician who is
unable to meet these VCUR 2006 EMR usage measures is subject to the
conditions outlined in the General Guidelines section of these
overall program guidelines.
