VCUR 2008 Reimbursement

The new VCUR 2008 electronic medical record (EMR) solutions are not the same as those offered in the past. In addition to the necessary IT components, this comprehensive physician office solution will give physicians access to a full range of support services including installation and maintenance support, help desk support and problem management, connectivity  and hardware maintenance.

The 2008 Physician Office System Program (POSP) EMR Pre-Qualification Request for Proposal (RFP) and associated Master Services Agreement (MSA) include a defined list of eligible items to be included in the complete physician office system solution. POSP will reimburse 70% of eligible costs up to the reimbursement maximum of $35,000 per physician unit over five years.*

* Funding for the Physician Office System Program was negotiated for the term of the current agreement. Any funding after March 31, 2011 is a matter for Negotiations 2011.
