Agreements
Physicians who enrol in the Physician Office System Program
(POSP) and implement an electronic medical record (EMR) solution,
will sign several forms and agreements over the course of the
implementation.
The Alberta Medical Association has reviewed the overall
agreements framework and general templates, and finds them to be
fair and reasonable.
The two primary agreements are the POSP Physician
Participation Agreement and the Physician Vendor Agreement. A
number of other agreements are related or are signed as a result of
the obligations outlined in these primary agreements.
