Provincial EHR Strategy
In addition to automating physician practices, the Physician
Office System Program (POSP) is an integral component of Alberta
Netcare, the province's electronic health record strategy.
POSP collaborates with Alberta Health Services and Alberta
Health and Wellness to provide integration and interoperability
with provincial systems, such as the Pharmaceutical Information
Network (PIN), lab test results and diagnostic imaging text
reports.
