How POSP Operates
New enrolment in POSP is currently on hold. Please
be aware that signing a contract with a vendor without POSP's
confirmation of funding availability will not guarantee POSP
funding. An EMR implementation waiting list has been established.
Physicians on the waiting list will be addressed on a first-come,
first-served basis as space or additional funding becomes
available. Physicians who wish to add their name to the list may do
so by contacting POSP at 780.452.1616 or posp@posp.ca.

Timeline.
The Physician Office System Program (POSP) is designed to fund
physicians as they automate their practices.
POSP has support and services to assist physicians during every
step of their electronic medical record (EMR) journey.
- Applying and enrolling in the program
- Implementing an EMR for the first time
- Changing from their current EMR to one of the VCUR 2008 EMR
solutions
- Supporting advanced EMR use to enhance clinical practice
