Enrol in POSP

New enrolment in POSP is currently on hold. Please be aware that signing a contract with a vendor without POSP’s confirmation of funding availability will not guarantee POSP funding. An EMR implementation waiting list has been established. Physicians on the waiting list will be addressed on a first-come, first-served basis as space or additional funding becomes available. Physicians who wish to add their name to the list may do so by contacting POSP at 780.452.1616 or posp@posp.ca.

Physicians who meet the eligibility guidelines may apply to the Physician Office System Program (POSP) for funding to implement electronic medical record (EMR) solutions. POSP is currently accepting physicians who wish to:

• Implement a VCUR 2008 EMR solution in their clinic
• Move to a clinic that currently has or is currently implementing a VCUR 2008 EMR solution
• Move to a clinic that already has a VCUR 2006 EMR solution (some restrictions apply)

Physicians applying for VCUR 2008 funding will initially need to submit the following documents:

• Download Application Form
  Please note: A clinic submits only one Application Form when they first enrol in POSP. After that each physician submits a Direct Deposit Form.

• Download POSP Physician Participation Agreement
