
The Physician Office System Program (POSP) is changing:
- As of March 31, 2014, POSP EMR implementation support and services will end.
- Funding support and services will continue for eligible enrolees up to the maximum funding amount of $35,000 or to March 31, 2019.
- VCUR 2006 funding support ends on March 31, 2014; invoice deadlines apply.

A large Lethbridge family practice has found the transition to a new electronic medical record (EMR) makes it easier to proactively influence their patients’ health.
The clinic received assistance through the Physician Office System Program (POSP), a provincial program that provides funding and support to enable physicians to adopt EMRs from qualified service providers.
